Moj AS connects a growing, mobile workforce with the information that matters

How did Slovenia's leading vending-service provider turn fragmented communication into one accessible employee experience?

Automatic servis has grown from a local business into Slovenia's leading vending-service provider, with more than 300 employees supplying over 13,000 vending machines nationwide.

Growth brought a communication challenge. Only about 65 employees regularly used a computer, while more than 230 worked in the field. Traditional channels could no longer inform everyone consistently, and employees wanted a clearer view of what was happening across the company.

With Digital Agora, Automatic servis created Moj AS: a secure digital workplace that brings company news, product updates, conversation and personal documents to employees on computers and their own mobile phones.

Challenge

Reach office and field employees with timely, two-way communication.

Moj AS as the secure digital channel for news, dialogue and personal documents.

The challenge

Traditional communication could not keep up with growth

Automatic servis began its journey 35 years before the case study was published. As the business expanded, so did its open and connected culture - and the need to communicate reliably with colleagues across Slovenia.

The workforce did not share the same work setting or access to technology. Most employees were out in the field, making it difficult to deliver company information quickly and consistently. The team first considered screens in visible workplace locations, but the coronavirus pandemic made it clear that employees also needed access away from company premises.

The goal became a platform that could reach every employee, support work across devices and create a more systematic, transparent and two-way flow of information.

The solution

Moj AS becomes the central digital channel for employee information

After researching and comparing several options, Automatic servis selected Digital Agora. The platform's functionality, customer references and successful adoption at other organizations gave the team confidence that employees would embrace the new experience.

Implementation took five weeks and involved key stakeholders throughout the company. With senior-management support, Automatic servis formed an editorial team that continues to plan, create and publish content. Every employee received a short training session, an account and a practical introduction to Moj AS.

Adoption and engagement

High adoption continues because Moj AS keeps earning attention

Moj AS has remained part of the everyday working rhythm rather than becoming a one-off launch initiative. Across the latest available monthly reporting, more than nine in ten employees were active in an average month, with about 286 using the mobile app.

That consistency is supported by an active editorial team. The team works with employees across different locations to find and publish content that is useful, interesting and fun.

The editorial mix combines operational and HR news with work schedules, team victories, personal stories, prize games and lighter content that reflects life across the company's locations.

The editorial team does more than publish to employees; it actively invites them into the story. The suggestion box is the latest extension of that approach, giving every colleague a direct route to share an idea.

The value

What changed after Moj AS launched

Moj AS has become the central place for employee information at Automatic servis, improving access, communication efficiency and participation across the business.

Information is available anywhere

Office and field employees can reach company information at any time, from any location and on any device.

Communication is timely and targeted

Employees receive relevant company news, promotions and new-product information without relying on a shared physical workplace.

Personal services are easier to reach

Electronic documents are available privately from a mobile device, making Moj AS useful beyond company announcements.

Employees help shape the platform

Participation in content and feature ideas strengthens the connection between employees and management and builds a sense of ownership.

Collaboration culture grows stronger

Accessible information and two-way interaction support satisfaction, motivation, productivity and long-term loyalty.

When I discovered Digital Agora, I knew it was the solution to our challenges.

For Automatic servis, the relationship with the vendor's team mattered alongside the platform itself: a successful project needed both a strong product and strong collaboration.

Employee voice

The suggestion box gathered 50 ideas in its first two months

Automatic servis added a dedicated suggestion form to Moj AS so every employee can contribute ideas from any location, directly through the native mobile app.

Employees can submit anonymously or by name, identify an improvement or a new idea, describe the existing problem and proposed solution, select their organizational unit and attach supporting material.

Fifty ideas in two months show that sustained adoption is translating into active participation: employees are not only reading company updates, they are helping shape what happens next.

Give every employee one secure place for information, dialogue and everyday services.

Digital Agora helps organizations reach desk-based and field employees through a consistent experience on desktop and mobile.
